Institut Néel, Grenoble, France: Dr. Serge Huant preferred the Nanonis controller for his homebuilt microscopes. He now uses three Nanonis systems for Scanning Gate Microscopy at liquid helium temperature with tuning fork, a very sensitive microscope with interferometry detection to measure Casimir forces as well as a SNOM with photo-counter. |

DPMC, Université de Genève, Switzerland: Prof. Patrycja Paruch switched to Nanonis to control an Omicron VT-AFM. It is now possible to easily switch between any AFM modes including piezo-response force microscopy (PFM). The OC4 is either used as a PLL or fast digital lock-in. |

IMRE, Singapore: For his home-built BEEM microscope, Dr. Cédric Troadec preferred the Nanonis control system for maximum flexibility. For instance, the integration of the attocube positioners is done seamlessly through the Nanonis software. |
